A Little About Me...

I’m a developmental editor and writer, working with people who want to understand their writing more clearly before moving forward.

As a writer myself, I know how close and personal this stage can feel, and how hard it can be to see your own work clearly.

My role isn’t to tell you what your book should be. It’s to help you see what you’ve already created, where it’s strongest, and what the next step might be.

How I Work

My approach is calm, considered, and collaborative.

I’ll tell you what’s working, where the book feels uncertain, and where a lighter touch or more restraint might strengthen it. I won't rewrite your work or push it into a particular shape.

Writers often come to me feeling unsure and leave feeling steadier and more confident about how to move forward.

This is likely a good fit if...

  • You’ve written (or nearly written) a manuscript
  • You feel unsure how it’s landing and want an honest outside perspective
  • You’re ready to revise, but want clarity before committing more time
  • You’re looking for thoughtful, supportive, and direct feedback

It may not be the right fit if you’re looking for line edits or proofreading, or if you’re not open to rethinking structure or direction.

Next Steps...

If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Tell me a little about your project, and I’ll let you know if I think we’d be a good fit.
